Enjoy Life Foods Chewy Bars Review

Enjoy Life Foods sent us their new and improved chewy bars to review a while back and we have been loving them! They are a great allergy friendly find! Perfect for snacks and in between meals.

I've said it before, and I'll said it again: we love Enjoy Life Foods products.  These bars, and every product made by Enjoy Life Foods are free from the top 8 allergens and made in a dedicated bakery that is free from the top 8 allergens.  These bars, and all products, are gluten free, dairy free, peanut free, tree nut free, egg free, soy free, fish free and shellfish free.  While Eliana loves their products, I love the fact that I can trust they are safe for her.

Eliana loved the packaging so much she actually used some of it for her first project for Kindergarten :)

The Enjoy Life Chewy Bars come in four flavors:  Caramel Apple, Cocoa Loco, Mixed Berry and SunButter Crunch.  The bars have been newly upgraded-- with added chocolate chips in the Cocoa Loco bar and the other three now made with ancient grains. They are a great substitute for granola bars since many brands have peanuts and/or tree nuts in them.  Eliana especially enjoys them as an after school snack.

Caramel Apple:

If you love caramel apple anything, you'll love these bars! Eliana wasn't so keen on them at first, but she did warm up to them because she does love apples and caramel. I enjoyed them too! I love apple bars and I liked the little bits of apple throughout the bar!

Coco Loco:

This is Eliana's absolute favorite bar out of the chewy bars.  She loved it before the added chocolate chips, she loves it even more now! I enjoy it too!  Its a great way to get my chocolate fix in :)

Mixed Berry:

This is Eliana's second favorite bar! She loves the mixed berry bar!  She ate it all up while telling me how good it was and how she wanted another one for another day.

Sunbutter Crunch:

The SunButter Crunch ones are soo good! Eliana doesn't like SunButter, so she does not enjoy these bars, but that is fine by me! I enjoy them and they have been a perfect snack in between meals for me.  So you would obviously need to like SunButter in order to enjoy these bars :)

Overall: We loved the bars! They are perfect for on the go snacks and we love that they are peanut free and tree nut free! I always bring some when we are travelling and I love how they don't have to be refrigerated so they really are great for on the road snacks :)

Using our Chewy Bars I made this Simple Thanksgiving Turkey Snack:

I used a Caramel Apple Chewy Bar for the body, edible candy eyes, and sliced apple for the rest of the details :) It was really so simple and quick to make! It was for an after school snack for Eliana and she loved it! Its a really simple snack you could make for the kiddos to munch on while Thanksgiving dinner is being made too! :)
